Dr. Higgins became interested in really treating dry eye disease about 2 years ago. Like most eye doctors, they were already doing the “usual” treatments, Restasis, Lotemax, and Punctal plugs, but they were often unsatisfied with the outcomes. The practice quickly realized the unmet needs serving the dry eye population and wanted to take the practice to the next level. This is when they made the decision to purchase an OptiLight.
The Impact
In the course of a year and a half, they watched the practice grow by 50%. They quickly have become a “referral center,” seeing patients referred to them by fellow optometrists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists and rheumatologists. They received over 10 new referrals each week from fellow professionals. Because of the positioning that MarketingECPs provided with the website and SEO, they were consistently showing up on the first page of Google searches for anything related to dry eye disease and treatment.

Higgins Vision Care continued working with Marketing4ECPs because the website constructed represented the image and professionalism the practice needed to project itself as the leading dry eye center in Connecticut and the surrounding area. The website and conversions continued beyond the website completion, and the OptiLight program was completed. Higgins Vision Care continued its marketing with SEO, Google ad placements and email marketing. The initial goal was to build a successful dry eye clinic, which Marketing4EPCs helped establish. The current goal is to maintain its status as the number one dry eye clinic in Connecticut.
